The Triangulum Galaxy

This is the third largest member of our ‘Local Group’ of galaxies and is estimated to contain around 40 billion stars… seems small when compared to 400 billion for the Milky Way and 1 trillion stars for the Andromeda Galaxy.⁣

We are star dust.⁣

This was my first time capturing a galaxy with a dedicated astro camera! I’m looking forward to many more in the coming weeks 🙃
